DAN AND MICHELLE TIED THE KNOT AT THE BEAUTIFUL BAYONET FARM A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND WE COULDN'T BE MORE EXCITED TO SHARE THEIR GORGEOUS WEDDING PHOTOS!
It is always such an honor when a fellow photographer chooses you to capture their photos! Michelle is a nurse, but also photographs newborn babies, you know, when she's not busy saving lives and stuff ;) Dan is SO much fun, and truly dotes on her, it's quite adorable! After working with them last fall for their engagement session at Allaire State Park we were anxiously awaiting their wedding day, and as luck would have it, it was even more amazing than we could have hoped for!
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE RECREATION OF ONE OF DAN'S PARENTS' WEDDING PHOTOS, IT'S PRETTY AWESOME! AND DON'T FORGET TO SHOW SOME LOVE FOR THEIR LOVE IN THE COMMENTS!
The day started off nice an relaxed with bride and groom prep at The Blue Bay Inn in Atlantic Highlands. They had a huge bay window in the bridal suite which made photographing the girls getting ready a dream! Michelle wore a simple lace gown, and she looked amazing, it fit her like a glove! One of my favorite details was her shoes, a color pair of Tom's sandals! My kind of girl! The guys got ready in about 15 minutes... as they usually do...but Dan is quite the ham and his groom portraits are on point!
Once everyone was ready we headed out to the marina with just Dan and Michelle for the big reveal. Dan had one of the best reactions for a first look that we have ever photographed! priceless! We snagged a few portraits of the two of them on the beach (and even managed to get the skyline in the background if you look close!), and then headed back to Blue Bay to board the trolley (another cool touch!).
We all arrived at Bayonet Farm refreshed from the air-conditioned car ride, and ready for portraits. Dan, Michelle, and their whole bridal party were really such troopers! It was 90+ degrees that day and we got not one complaint! Their squad was just like them, sweet, fun, and full of personality, it seriously made for wonderful photos!
The rest of the night went off without a hitch! They had a lovely outdoor ceremony, great family photos (so great that I actually HAD to include one in the blog post!), and a fun-filled night of dancing and hula-hooping with family and friends. We are SO happy for the two of them, and can't wait to see what the future holds! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Spengeman! Enjoy!
