Joe and Kelly's wedding was a blast! Even though it rained pretty much the entire day, they came prepared with umbrellas for the entire bridal party and embraced the crowds at the Smithville Village for their portraits. Their ceremony and reception were held at the very beautiful Stockton at Seaview in Galloway, NJ and their reception decor was rose gold, a favorite of ours right now! Not only did we get amazing photos at Smithville, but during the reception we pulled them out for night shot in the rain under and umbrella and they ended the night with a fantastic sparkler exit! This wedding was amazing! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
The bride got ready at her Mother's house in Manahawkin, NJ. I especially love when bride's get ready at home or a place that is near and dear to them. So much more special that way! She had such pretty woodland details; the ring box and the invitation went so well together! With her girls wearing blue, Kelly wore sapphire jewelry and blue shoes and looked so fabulous wearing it! And I LOVED her dress! It was GREAT dress to dance in, too...so flowy! The groom came right before we were scheduled to leave for portraits and we did a "first look" in the backyard so they could ride in the bus together (such a great idea...spend as much time together as possible!)
Portraits at Smithville Village
Here's where the serious fun begins. We arrived, nearly couldn't find parking, there was a bajillion people there, it was raining... I mean most people want a sunny filled day, portraits at an empty park, but these guys? These guys were right up my alley! They didn't let any of this get them down, and I personally love chaos (pretty sure I mentioned this a few times before). They came prepared with the umbrellas for the entire bridal party and the crowds actually gave us some creative ideas! Once the rain came down pretty hard, we decided to head over to the venue to finish up portraits before guests started to arrive for their ceremony.
Portraits at Stockton at Seaview in Galloway, NJ
At Stockton at Seaview we found a spot with some cover and got a few more portraits of the bride and groom.
Stockton at Seaview had a pavilion which of course worked out perfectly for Joe and Kelly's romantic wedding ceremony!
Their reception was SO MUCH FUN! Rose gold details, great speeches, wild dancing (some of which I decided to keep private for the bride and groom to share..haha) and even some time to pull them away for an epic night shot! Oh and sparklers! We even did a sparkler exit!
