As if we couldn't be any more excited about their wedding, we finally got to meet Jenn and Andy in person for their engagement session in NYC and it was amazing! Starting at the Highline, we ventured into the Meatpacking District before finishing up in Chelsea.
Even though we travel all over, it's not too often we shoot in NYC, and it's so close to home! I used to frequent Manhattan and Brooklyn quite a bit when I was younger, and to be here again has me wondering why I haven't been up here since! I've never been to the Highline before this, which is actually an above ground railroad that was built in the 1930's and has since become overgrown with weeds and plants. NYC has turned it into a gorgeous mile and a half long walk oasis, I highly suggest you visit! And the food at the Lounge smelled AMAZING!
Once we started venturing away from the Highline, we were so into their session, talking, laughing, walking, shooting, I couldn't tell which direction we were going in, so somehow we ended up in Chelsea. There is just so many photo ops, every 10 steps we were stopping to take pictures, and I'm glad we started earlier than usual because we could have photographed these guys ALL. DAY. LONG. We really enjoyed getting to know Jenn and Andy, both who work in finance. I think Jenn started out shy, only to let her inner model come out and told us probably 5 times how much she loved pictures! So yeah, we had to make sure we got a few of her alone (or an extra few ;). They will be getting married this September at Eagle Oakes in Farmingdale, a GORGEOUS venue and we couldn't be more excited!
