THIS WEDDING AT THE FOX HOLLOW IN WOODBURY, NY WAS SO MUCH FUN, AND FOR A COUPLE WHO CLAIMS THAT THEY ARE 'NOT PHOTOGENIC' THEY PRETTY MUCH KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF! I'D SAY THEY ROCKED IT, DON'T YOU AGREE?!
Mike and Ali are the sweetest! We had been looking forward to photographing their Long Island wedding all summer, and they did not disappoint! When we arrived we started with Ali's wedding gown (which was so unique, and gorgeous!) and bridal details. Ali's girls did their best to keep her calm as they watched the forecast, and kept us laughing as they played 'Heads Up' while she got her makeup done. Getting ready may or may not have involved some fashion tape, and a foot scrub from mom, haha! Mike and his guys arrived calm, cool, and collected... and looking fly, of course! We did a quick (and cute!) first look outside Ali's parents house and then it was time to head to the beach... as soon as we could get everyone on the bus! After we did the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos we were setting up the entire bridal party when the drops began to fall. These guys were such troopers! Every single one of them hopped into this amazing pose, smiled, laughed... and then made a run for it! After a few minutes the rain let up just enough for us to get Mike and Ali out there with a couple umbrellas for some romantic portraits of the two of them. There was a little umbrella mishap, but it certainly made for some funny candid photos! After that we headed over to The Fox Hollow and got to squeeze in a few family pictures before it was time to walk down the aisle! Their sunset ceremony was very cute, and made super personal by a family friend who served as the officiant. I think everyone was definitely ready to party now! The reception was full of love and fun as family and friends danced and sang the night away. One of those guests just happens to be my little brother (did I forget to mention that Mike and him are childhood friends?!). I hear we look alike so I snuck in a photo of him... let's see if you can find it! We finished up with some fun and colorful night portraits of the newlyweds before it was time to make the long haul back to the Jersey Shore. We had such an amazing time celebrating with you guys! Hope you are enjoying married life!
