NICO AND VICTORIA'S WEDDING AT THE STATEROOM IN LBI WAS A CHIC NAUTICAL AFFAIR WITH PERFECT LITTLE PERSONALIZED DETAILS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE! THE GROOM WAS DAPPER, THE BRIDE EXQUISITE, THE MID-DAY BEACH PHOTOS GRACED WITH PUFFY WHITE CLOUDS, AND A GROUP OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT WERE LOVING, SUPPORTIVE, AND JUST A BLAST TO BE AROUND!
You may remember these guys from their engagement session in Asbury Park, when we couldn't help but gush that was featured in The Knot NJ magazine this winter. They totally rocked that session, and we enjoyed their company so much that we went out for some post session drinks. Upon leaving we had to call them up to see if they wanted to do 'one last shot' as the casino had been lit up this amazing purple. Of course they were game, and we fell more in love with them, haha!
Fast forward to their wedding day, which we had been long anticipating... We were a little nervous about the beach traffic on 4th of July weekend, and the high sun for photos at Barnegat light, but they day went absolutely flawlessly! Probably because these 2 are so awesome ;) We started at Daddy O for bride prep, where the girls from Pin It Up bridal did a fantastic job getting the bride, moms, and maids photo-ready! Victoria's gown and veil were by Mori Lee from RK Bridal in NYC. She topped it off with wedding rings from Corinne Jewelers, and Biele Jewelers and other accessories by Nadri. The look was complete with the gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choos! We had a quick first look there, and got to meet Victoria and Nico's dog Kona, and include him in some photos as well!
Time to head to the beach! The weather for beach photos at 3pm in mid-July honestly could not get more amazing! It was NOT sweating hot, actually quite comfortable, with just enough breeze to keep everyone cool, but not mess up their hair. There were also just enough clouds to diffuse the high sun and keep everyone happy, and let all those beautiful colors shine through in the photos!
Then it was on to the final destination... wedding time! We arrived at The Stateroom to do some family photos, and then get the bride hidden away while the guests started arriving. The sweet ceremony was handled by Nico's cousin Brett who did a wonderful job, especially the part where he allowed us to get the coveted kiss-from-behind shot... AND even moved the microphone, woo-hoo! From there we went into the party! The florals by Reynolds Garden Shop were so pretty, and the uplighting and song selection from Christian at SCE Event Group really kept the party going! You'll also see a really well done Nautical cake from Carlo's Bakery, and the sweetest engraved cake forks.. adorable! We really hope you guys enjoy this one, as it has been a super fun one for us from beginning to end!!!
