We had a wonderful time with Cassandra, David and their family capturing the vibrant waterside wedding at The Chesapeake Inn & Marina in Chesapeake City, MD that they put together! We loved how involved the kids were in the entire wedding. Not only did a few of them toast the bride and groom, but one of David’s daughters actually SANG their first dance song. It was so sweet and she was DAMN good!!! Congratulations to these lovebirds, and enjoy!
Prep at Bride’s home and at The Shipwatch Inn
Cassandra got ready with her all of her girls at her and David’s home in Delaware, that’s right, this wedding spanned 2 states! Her MUA Alexis Brielle Schwartz did a fantastic job. I don’t think I’ve seen such precision as with her application of that beautiful ivory shimmer shadow. I loved the vibrant florals they sourced from Giant food 365. They were colorful and gorgeous! It was fun having so many girls there as the little ones really hammed it up and you could tell they were enjoying being pampered and getting dressed up.
The guys were over at the Shipwatch Inn. David helping his stepson with his bowtie gets me right in the feels and I just can’t say enough about the SWAG these guys had, like Damn!
ceremony at Love of Christ in Bear, DE.
These two not only have a deep love for each other, but also a deep love of their faith. It was so moving to watch them commit to that and eachother.
Portraits near chesapeake inn & marina
These guys did a great job of working with the time we had and giving us everything we needed and then some! It was tight on that dock and they really worked it! That’s a 29 person bridal party right there! We love how in love these two are, and the locket with Cassandra’s moms photo on her bouquet was such a sweet touch.
Reception at Chesapeake Inn & Marina in Chesapeake City, MD
To say this was a fun reception would be an understatement! The dance floor was going all night and the kids could not stop requesting their favorite songs. The adults certainly had their fun too and we couldn’t help but bop along to all the old school hits. It was perfect!
