A lot of photographers these days are providing the high resolution digital images. Not only does everyone desire the instant gratification of sharing on social media and via email, but you have the freedom to make as many prints as you like, as big as you like (provided the proper resolution) and have them forever! After paying hundreds, if not thousands for these images, you'll want to make sure you are using proper labs and proper finishes to display the highest print quality possible. Read on to find out more!
We've compiled this list of all of our favorite places for family photos on location in New Jersey! From parks, to Jersey Shore beaches, and to the city, we've got the best of everything listed right here. Some of our favorites include Island Beach State Park, Spring Lake and Asbury Park boardwalk.
Raise your hand if you're ready for Spring! Well in honor of Spring FINALLY arriving, we are announcing our Spring Family Mini Sessions...at a Farm! We will be working with live animals along with their owner in Cream Ridge. They have horses, a goat, and chickens! We can't wait to style this for Spring! :) Here are the details!
Our family camping trip to Kittatinny Campground in Barryville, NY was simply FANTASTIC! First of all, if you have never been true camping, put it on your bucket list. I for one love camping, and I know it's not for everyone, but the bonding that happens, especially when there is no wifi, is just something you can't get doing anything else. Here are some highlights!
Every year on Christmas and Easter, it's the same thing. We're making Lamb, either a roast or kabobs, Tsoureki and Baklava. It's something we all look forward to and have done all my life! I wanted to document these family traditions during Christmastime with my sisters and nieces, not only so I am in some, but having portraits just isn't the same. We're not faking it. I'm in my everyday clothes (which happens to be sweats and a t-shirt), the kids are sitting on tables and counters, we're mixing dough on the floor, my kitchen isn't finished (still being remodeled), nothing about this is perfected..yet somehow it's still perfect!
Apple picking at Eastmont Orchards in Colts, Neck NJ was so much fun! The farm is absolutely gorgeous, so much beautiful greenery and the apples were delicious. I couldn't help but take a few photos and think about having a mini session here... the kids were so happy and had a blast, why not document your family fun?!
Are ya'll ready for some vintage inspired holiday photos? Here to announce our Family Mini Sessions and we have something super unique in store! We will be working with a 1971 vintage VW Bus named Poppy! Poppy will be styled for the winter with blankets, hot cocoa and more! We aren't over-doing the Christmas theme but we do hope to get a fresh cut tree for the roof rack with more of a Peace, Love and Joy theme using neutral colors. Just imagine yourselves all cuddled up and cozy with "hot cocoa" for this years Christmas card! I'm SO excited about this one! Here are the details!
I took Josie to one of the lakes in Lacey in southern NJ to document her just having fun and being three! Candid, documentary photography is one of my favorite things, couple that with gorgeous light and man I am in heaven!

Adorable hand-made DIY wooden block photo ornament step-by-step instructions.
Oh what a fun year it's been! Actually, here's 2 years worth of behind the scenes since we didn't put a post together last year. Enjoy at our expense! :)
Just creepin' in the bushes...While Jacqui creeps up on this bride...I run A LOT during sessions...Jacqui maybe a little ;)Kinda funny that we both got a picture of us swatting a fly... Jacqui likes to pretend she's the child while I test my settings...She'll go as far as pretending she's a baby...But she really loves holding fake babies... Although photobombing is her specialty...Okay, maybe I'll jump out of nowhere once in a while...Now our next set...pregnant photographers...
9 months with a nice shelf to rest my elbows on...Photographing families and kids...And babies...Ish happens...Apparently she wasn't thrilled with my antics...Here we are photographing adults, couples and weddings...Photobombing this romantic moment...I'm not really sure what's going on here...all I know is no one got hurt...And of course we photograph each other once in a while...I told you she like role playing... Lol, I think she was trying to tell the guys "You. Here. Now."...Looking at these ones, I can see how people mistake us for sisters...Modeling my new Jo Totes camera bag ;) ...

On Dec. 8th, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Josie Kathleen <3 It happens to be the same day as Jacqui's son, Miles' birthday, too! Annddd the day of our last job for the year, which I obviously couldn't make. Jacqui actually thought I was kidding when I texted her that morning to tell her I "thought" I was in labor..lol. Like, could it really be this day?! She came to visit me in the hospital only about an hour after delivery (not knowing it had only been an hour) and took some shots for me, and brought me the hat she crocheted for her pictures. :) Once I came home, I pretty much immediately started her newborn session at 3 days old, and did another at 7 days, and another at 8 days, and another at 9 days and another at 11 days, annnddd yet another when she was 4 weeks, then I ditched the backgrounds and bean bag and began shooting a little more lifestyle. :) Well, enough blabbering..let's get to the pictures!
This is the first time she opened her eyes. Looks like she's saying "Ahhhhh where am I?!"We look like such concerned parents, don't we??3 days old, posed on my bed-no special beanbag or lights (which means anyone can do that!). And I really have to figure out where I got this headband from! These are when she was 7 days old. Just chillin'.Love those lips! She's doin' the Dr. Evil..lolLet me just tell you…that snowman pose is HARD to get right! 8 days old here.OMG Love. We are not known for using background setups (aside from the blankets for newborns), but I HAD to come up with something for my winter baby! <3 9 days old. What do you think of the banner I made? Do you love? ;) And here's the hat Jacqui made!11 days old below. All four kids. Yes. Four. :) On Christmas Eve.You know I had to put her in front of the tree for one! She's 24 days old here to be exact. ;)This photo right here. Ugh. It just melts my heart. Marley is a big sister now. :)Exactly one month below. Here's a shot I knew I really wanted. Well my first attempt didn't go so well when I handed my 6yr old daughter the camera to shoot it for me while I held her! Went to Jacqui for her assistance and it turned out great. :)Starting her young at only 6 weeks! ;) "Reading makes me sleepy!"hello :)7 weeks with her big sister2 months below. I'm going to do this at 4 and 6 months also, to see how much and how fast she has grown. :) As I've been photographing her these past 2 months, I'm realizing how much I LOVE the lifestyle photography. These photos at the end and the ones at the hospital mean so much to me. I'm loving her expressions and seeing her personality with her eyes open, how tiny she is compared to a book and her in my arms… It's so different photographing a newborn as her mom first, and a photographer second! I think those truly showcase this time in her and our lives... Don't be surprised if Jac&Jules takes a turn around the bend in the near future. :)

I saw a maternity pic like this on pinterest long before I was pregnant and what do ya know..I had the opportunity to take one for myself. ;) Ready to go any day now! Except we have one more job I'm trying to make it to on the 8th..lol. Now that's dedication. This pic got so much attention on Facebook that I decided to post it here for our followers that may not be on the book. Look out for some newborn pics soon! :)
